Should it be more symmetrical?

Hi ladies, so my boyfriend and I are getting engaged in the near future. I know it’s not traditional, but we’re both customizing my ring. He’s looked and looked and has gotten ideas of things I would like, but he wants it to be perfect so he asked me to help him custom make it. Well I think we’ve finally found a “base setting”, just something to base it off of when we go to our local jeweler.

I REALLY love this one if we can make a tad bit thinner (my fingers are super skinny so I feel like it would be too bulky). But I’m also wondering if it should be symmetrical. I do love how it looks, but I’m also a little OCD so it makes me wonder if it would look better being more symmetrical. What do you all think?

Other than it being a little more thin and possibly symmetrical, this is exactly what it would look like. Rose gold and emerald shaped center stone.
