RANT! Crappy MUAS I’ve had to work with!

First off I model a lot lol

ok so there’s obviously so many talented MUAs out there and I’ve worked with so many talented people but holy shit there’s some awful ones out there that somehow have some qualification??? Like no you can’t be a MUA if you can’t get my foundation shade right to begin with. Then you’re putting PINK EYESHADOW AND NOT BLENDING IT. Sure let’s do editorial but Jesus Christ blend the frickin eyeshadow. To top it off let’s put the brightest pink lipstick we have and if you guys know stuff about makeup, you know you have to be careful with people with small lips because it can look almost scary. (I’ve got tiny lips) Just imagine. Super white face with bright pink shadow and bright pink lips. Not a good look.

Then. Then. Someone else wants to do a “no makeup makeup look”. It speaks for itself. It’s meant to look like you have no makeup. But guess what

I get the biggest winged eyeliner in history of all eyeliners

And no it’s not good

It’s awful

It’s uneven and patchy

Then the MUA decides not to even put any mascara? Are you kidding me

These are just from ONE DAY. I’m gonna write a frickin book on all the horrors I’ve had. You can’t expect good results if I look like a scarecrow
