Traumatic birth story

Na

So yesterday on 11/11 at 7 am I got told to come in to be induced. Everything looked alright I was at 2 cm, 70% effaced ,and at a -3 station. So we started with the cervidil. 4 hours later my cervix hadn't done any progress so they started the pitocin at 1pm. We waited 4 more hours and my cervix was at a 3, almost a 4, and still very high( which was painful asf when they did the cervical check) my nurse asked me I'd I wanted the epidural since I couldn't take the cervical checks and I said yes. At 7 pm i got my epidural and after i got it i could still feel my contractions. I told my nurse and the anesthesiologist he gave me a higher dose. He came in and gave me one and it started working. At 1 am I started getting contract ins and could feel them. We had to call the anesthesiologist and replace the epidural. At 5am the same thing started occurring, but my cervix was at a 5 and it wouldnt progress aby longer so we decided to go with a c-section since my contractions were pretty frequent and high. At 0730 they take me to the OR and place the spinal and lay me down. I couldn't talk or breathe so the OR doctor decided to put me to sleep and give me extra oxygen. All I remember is saying I couldn't breathe, freaking out and falling asleep. At 0930, I was woken up by the anesthesiologist replacement and she told me of what happened. My body was in so many medications at the same time that my diaphragm wasnt working like it should've, but my baby and I are currently doing well and resting. Kudos to all you moms who can do it naturally. I really applaud you guys.
