Baby babbling yet?

Question

When do we expect baby to babble like dadad, mama etc? Mine just does "aa" sounds and happy screams when she is excited. She is 6.5 months. I did the horrible mistake of googling the language milestones and read variety of ambitious targets. Now I cant get it 0ut of my head . So looking for real insights from mommies here. Thank you

Mine isn’t babbling yet. He doesn’t seem to be much of a talker. My first was babbling and starting saying “cat” at this age so this baby is total opposite, but it’s normal.

I wanna say my first was about 9 months when he said dada but he didn’t know what it meant.
Not til about 1 year old then he started saying mama and reaching for me 💗

My daughter turned 6 months on the 5th. She started saying mama at 5 months. Now she says mama, dada, and nana all day.

Don’t be worried! It can take up to a year for babies to start saying mama, dada, baba, etc. they might say it between 8-10 months but some babies don’t until a year. My daughter actually just now started babbling and was saying bababa one morning and then it turned into “dada” she rarely says it but she does scream and say “ahhh” all day long. She was born May 26th. She’s almost 6 months.
