Does anyone have siblings that mooch off you??*Edited**

Ok so right now I have amazon prime. I’ve let my sister share that. She’s constantly asking for my password to watch movies I have purchased (you can have separate accounts on the same one). She has never offered to pay for half or anything at all. 
If I have any other streaming account she always wants the password so she can use it and now pay for it. It gets so annoying. 
Well I just got disney plus and was watching something. Snapped it and she saw. Then she asked me if I had it. I lied of course cuz I don’t want her asking me for the password. It’s so annoying to me. She never wants to pay for things but wants the benefits. 
Does anyone else have siblings like that??

She is the kind of person who tries to get anything and everything for free. When she comes over to my house and if she sees something she likes she always asks if she can have it. She expects everyone to give her what she wants whenever.

I have a Netflix account I gave the password to my mom and sister and I pay for it. This does not bother me at all it doesn’t cost me extra if they watch something so I don’t care. Actually if anything it makes me happy they use it because sometimes I go a couple months without using it so I’m happy someone is and I’m not just wasting money.

What’s wrong with sharing? As long as she isn’t watching at the same time as you and keeping you from using your own accounts then there’s literally no problem. You were going to buy the movies and services anyway, why does she need to pay half? If you don’t like it, change your passwords. Easy. Easier than lying, holding a grudge, and resenting her for doing something simple.

If it bothers you change your passwords, or go to settings and devices and kick off any devices that aren’t yours then change your password. You are allowing it by enabling her but yet still complaining about it, can’t have it both ways.

My brother in law uses our Netflix, but we don’t even really mind because he is in school right now, son🤷🏻‍♀️ Dont see a point in charging him $8 a month lol. My husband and I know both know what it was like trying to find free entertainment while in college 😂

I’m an only child, but I’m sure it would bother me that it was just expected. If she can’t help pay, maybe see if there’s something she can do, like laundry or cleaning? Just sharing with someone during a rough financial patch and being taken advantage of are two different things.

My entire family swap and share streaming so we don’t end up paying for the same services but it’s a mutual agreement and no one is upset by it. 
If it upsets you ask her to pay or log her off. But, I wouldn’t start a war with my sibling over a streaming account.

I share with my sister and ex husband. My kids use my ex husband’s Netflix acct at my house, I use my sister’s amazon prime and my sister uses my Hulu. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My sister in law is the same way with our netflix we got since we don't have cable. Three if the profiles on there are for her and her kids my husband and I each have our own profile. When we first got it we paid the basic meaning one person watching at a time it got so fucking annoying that everytime my husband and I went on there to watch something we couldnt cause she was either on there or her kids were. So we ended up getting the one package where multiple people can watch at once and not ever has she offered to help pay for it even though her family uses it more than my husband and I and she has cable so she can watch regular TV.
