My daughter wants spaghetti in her thermos for school lunch tomorrow, any tips?

Will it stay hot if I just put the sauce on top of the noodles or do i need to mix it up? Does anyone else do this?

it won't matter as long as there's sauce somewhere. if you want to really make sure it'll be hot, put boiling water in the thermos for a few minutes with the lid on, then drain it. quickly put the pasta in and seal it. in school my dad would sometimes wrap a tea towel around it for even better insulation.

I overheat my daughters food a bit then put it in the thermos.  She says it’s always plenty hot by lunch time.

It should stay hot. You can either mix it up or just pour some sauce. Depends on the thermos as well. I do this sometimes when I pack for work because sometimes I’m too busy to go to the cafeteria.
