So we were going to announce our 2nd pregnancy at thanksgiving with my daughter wearing a shirt and just letting everyone figure it out on their own. BUT my SO’s close cousin is due the day after Christmas and I don’t want her to feel like we are stealing her shine since this is her first baby and our second. Opinions?

You can't not celebrate your baby just because other people are having babies. As long as you're not comparing your baby to hers or showing up to her baby shower and taking all about yours it's fine.

I don't think you're stealing her thunder. The event isn't about her eg it isn't her shower or birthday, and the 2 of you are at very different points in your pregnancies.
