I tested positive for cholestasis of pregnancy
I tested positive for cholestasis of pregnancy. Midwife decided for me to be induced on Sunday 11/10/19 at 7pm. Fast fwd to the next day. At 8am I started with the contractions. I was sure I did not want pain medication. Contractions got stronger and stronger... but with breathing through them and couple of cuss words I thought I had it under control. At around 10:30am I felt like I had to push... checked me, I was 6cm dialated... (I had until 8cm to go for the epidural) I came to a point that I screamed “give me something!?!?!” So I demanded for the epidural, my midwife said to do the spinal since it’s a one time dose that will last 2 hours so I said whatever I just needed to relieve this pain... as she is about to go tell the nurses I yell “OH MY GOD I NEED TO PUSH!!! I’M PUSHING!!!!( my body started pushing on its own) midwife said “I don’t think you are ready, hop on the bed let’s check” ... ( i was standing with contractions) as soon as she checks .. “OKAY, WE ARE READY TO HAVE A BABY!” ... about 3 pushes and my beautiful baby boy Liam Sebastian Deleon had made his grand entrance to this world💙 11/11/2019 born at 11:00 am. 5lbs 12oz 18in long. Because my baby is 4 weeks early and I had GA we are having such a hard time getting his blood sugar stable and breastfeeding is not working at the moment. 😔
Hoping he can get through this quick so I can take him home and all the poking he is getting stops🙏🏼 ANDDDDD I need this breast milk to come in already because my little man needs it 🥰
