Miscarriage or not?

I don't know how far along I am but my last period is Oct 1st. According to this app I should be 6weeks. After a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday I came home and there was blood covering my underwear with some stringy blood but no clot. There was also blood after I wiped. Put on a pad overnight and it was clean in the morning not even a drop. Throughout the day today theres only very tiny bits of brown discharge when I wiped after I pee. What do you think?

It could've been the scan irritating your cervix. I'd call your midwife to let her know you're concerned. If theres no cramps and no more bleeding then I'd say it's just the scan irritated your cervix.

Call your doctor. I had that happen with my first and they brought me in for multiple sonograms immediately following. It turned out I had a SCH which caused the bleeding. Everything was fine, but I spotted all through the first trimester.

Oh Honey, don’t worry!!!! They should have told you that you can have bleeding after your transvaginal ultrasound for up to 3 day! It can be really scary, but it should be fine. Call your OB for reassurance. My first I didn’t bleed after, but my second I had to wear a pad. It’s a shame they didn’t tell you because if you don’t know and it happens it’s terrifying! Try not to stress and call the nurse. The cervix has more blood flow right now because of being pregnant so transvaginal US and sex can cause spotting or bleeding.
