C-Section Question? Intimacy?

I know we are supposed to wait to be intimate with our partner after a C-section 40 days but has anyone ever done so before the recommended waiting period? And if so was there pain? Infection? Anything ?

6 weeks. There’s a giant scab healing in your uterus where the placenta was so leaves you at a huge risk for infection.

We waited 8 weeks as recommended. It was very painful for me the first few times. I had an unbearable pain in my sacrum and lower back. I’m not sure why it was there, but it had never happened before and only had it the first few times we had sex. Then it improved and I orgasm better now than before pregnancy 🤷🏽‍♀️

After 6 weeks he released me. I lied to my husband and told him at 8 weeks. I was terrified of the pain. It hurt SO bad the first few times. The pain does end though!

We waited 4 and a 1/2 weeks and had no issues. Then at 5 weeks had a mishap with a superficial opening of my scar in 2 places. Now 7 weeks pp we tried again (scar has closed up nicely), were extremely careful and once again had no issues thankfully. Feeling very back to normal at this point.

We did it at about 6 weeks after and it was a little painful but not bad.
