Or any nurse who knows the answer, I’ve just started my nursing career. I’ve been a nurse for about a year and now we are pregnant. I do plan on staying home for 1 or 2 yrs until we place the baby in daycare (we only want 1 child so I wanna enjoy the baby stage) My question is, when I quit my job what is going to happen to my license? Do I have to do those CE classes to maintain my license? What if I don’t do those CE classes bc I find little time to completely them? Do I lose my license? All my hard work gone bc i didn’t do the classes or will I be able to catch up all my hours at the end of 2 years without any consequence.
