Spoiled baby ??!

Question

My son is almost 7 weeks old. I know he is fed, clean all that and he will still cry !! The only thing he wants is to be picked up and walked around the house. Did we spoil him? Cause now every time he cries I pick him up when I know he’s fed and all that. Is there a way to un- spoil him ? 😩 is it possible he’s tired of our room?

There's no such thing as spoiling a child. Your baby needs you, needs your comfort. He spent 9 months in the womb , Alone. You're the first & only person he knows so far. He grew inside of you. Give him all the love , hugs ,& kisses while you can.

OMG 😮 please!!! He’s 7 weeks old. A tiny little baby. He’s not spoilt!!!! He just needs love and comfort and reassurance. The worst thing you can do is ignore him. Put the hard work in now and you’ll have a lovely happy and secure baby.

There will come a time when your baby is too “busy” to want to be held even if he’s in your arms 24/7 now.  Enjoy it instead of getting annoyed by it.

You can spoil a baby.  Especially a 7 weeks old.  He still so new to the world. Think he was in a warm safe place for 9 months where he could always hear his mommy.  Hold him if that all he wants.  Sure it’s okay to put him down but it’s not a bad thing to hold him. ￼

You can't spoil a baby that young.  It's okay to pick him up.  He knows you love him that way.  He's used to being inside of you for 9 months, that's all he knows.  Also, this is around the point babies realize they're no longer in the womb and it's a transition for them.

😄 oh dear. We have never let our baby cry longer than it took to walk over to him and pick him up. He is the happiest cruisiest independent 3.5 yr old boy now! Spoiling them with love and attention builds a secure happy independent child, that’s what you want

Babies this young cannot be spoiled. If he is fussy there is probably a reason for it and he needs to be held and comforted. Its exhausting sometimes. My son used to get like that if I didnt put him down for a nap. He would get over tired and just cry and scream. Good luck and i hope you figure out a good method for you soon! Every kiddo is different, but dont be afraid of spoiling them by giving them love and attention.

No such thing as spoiling a baby! He's so young. He's doesn't realize that you and him are a separate person.  All he knows is that you're the one who takes care of him so naturally he wants to be close to you. It sucks I know but it will get better. Try wearing him and at least you'll have your hands free.
