Anyone else's baby started shivering??

Question

My little girl started shivering in the bath tonight. I thought babies didn't shiver until they were older? Should I be concerned? Anyone else's little one shiver? Pretty sure it was just because she doesn't like the water and holds her arms and legs up out of the water, so she does get cold.

Um.... my son hasn't done any whole body shivers but he has been doing the "teeth chattering" jaw motion since a week after birth. He does this when he's upset and not cold, though. Is there any possibility it's leftover "jerky/rough movements" on your baby's part? If not, I imagine it's possible since that is often marked at around 6 months and that's not too far off. If you're worried you could ask your pediatrician. :)

My son has shivered when cold since at least 2 months..I literally didn't know until recently that it's not supposed to happen? But it seems 100% normal to me. Obviously you can bring it up to the ped but I honestly think it's normal

But ask her peds. If it worry’s you a lot!
