Would this upset/annoy you?

My boyfriend used to be addicted to morphine and he constantly talks about drugs. Drug facts, the feeling of drugs, random stories about drugs he read online. It literally only takes him about 30 seconds of seeing each other for him to start talking about drugs. Would this drive you crazy?

He was an addict. That doesn’t just go away. It may be annoying, but it’s going to come with the territory. Personally, I’d rather him talk about it then do it 🤷🏼‍♀️

That would be so annoying. How long has he been clean off drugs? I'm in recovery and now work on recovery and it's common for newly clean addicts to glorify and have lots of drug talk. It's important that its corrected however because it's super unhealthy. Does he do any support groups or 12 step meetings? If he isnt doing anything for his recovery and he's constantly talking about drugs I would be concerned cause that sounds like he is in relapse mode. Tell him it concerns you and ask why he feels the need to talk about drugs so much.
