What day would you consider the anniversary?

So I met him in basic training last year, we really liked each other but neither of us knew because fraternization isn’t allowed. After basic we talked every couple of days but he was always on my mind. About 3 months out of basic we started dating but it litterally lasted 6 days before their was a miscommunication and I regrettably broke up with him, Ive still had feelings for him since then. But now we’re getting back together roughly 3 months after we broke up, would you consider our anniversary the day we first started dating or the day we got back together?

Sorry it’s a lot of information I tend to over think.
