Do you hide a pickle in your Christmas tree?

This is a tradition that I would love to start with my son. I'm immensely excited about it. I want a small one for the adults and a bigger one for my son. 
Anyone else doing this?

My mom wanted to try it one year when I was a kid. My brother and I searched all over the tree and couldn't find it, only to hear later she completely forgot to do it. 🤦‍♀️😂
