Am I immature?

I’ve never been in a relationship and there’s this guy I really like. I would say I borderline am in love with him and we talk almost every day. The thing is he’s been in several serious relationships. One that lasted 9 years and the most recent one was a live in relationship for 3 years.

I’ve never really felt this way about someone and I act a fool around him. I call him all sorts of names (all in jest of course) and love love love irritating and annoying the crap outta him!! I love aggravating him and joking with him. However I feel like he probably thinks I’m hella immature. We’re both in our mid twenties though and we definitely don’t act like it with each other. Sometimes I really can’t handle my feelings towards him and I don’t know what to do. What can I do to be more mature and try to take my feelings towards him more seriously?
