Shaving for a hot date

I'm going on a date soon and I have not been with anyone in a while. I used to shave everything down there for my ex but my skin hates shaving (and waxing) and its just so time consuming.

Do you ladies remove hair/does your partner prefer you bare? If you date women do you prefer them bare or have a preference?

If someone shaves down there should they shave everything or do you think leaving some hair can be hot too?

I know that some people say its more acceptable now to leave hair but it is hard for me to feel sexy unless I shave and I am insecure about having a someone see that.
