epidural???

what’s your opinion? how many have you gotten it and how many have you skipped it? i’m not sure what to decide.. i need opinions

I had it for each of my 3 deliveries. I would recommend trying without but if you need it then get it.

I didn’t get it with either. I didn’t like the idea of having a needle in my spine for one thing. And I keep hearing about people having problems years down the road from getting them.

I received the epidural when I was in labor but my labor was over 2 days and ended with a csection sooooo i needed the meds anyway. I regret getting it because for a year or so afterwards your back hurts like crazy doing the most simplified tasks. My next child i plan to go vaginally and without. I also will do everything I can to have a more speedier delivery. As shes stated previously, every labor is different and your mind can change once you're actually in labor.

You can decide now or when you’re in labor. Everyone’s labor is different and it differs from child to child. 
I had one with both but with my second my labor was so fast and I got it 10 mins before she came out lol. So I still felt every single thing. If your labor is short, I can see how you could do without one. But my first labor was 24 hours lol. My second was barely 4 hours.

Didn’t with first. It was a 4 hour labor and honestly a piece of cake. Did with my twins. And did with my youngest, it only worked on half. (Did it with my youngest cuz I found out how great it was worth my twins,lol) all my labors were 4 hours or less. I couldn’t imagine not having for those long all day labors.
