You guys know about the girl who gave birth and it was stillborn, so she buried it in her backyard? I think it’s wrong..I mean she could have just told people her parents after she gave birth..and avoided all of these charges?

I just went and read up on this, as I did not know anything about her. I think this is a tragic, heartbreaking story all around. She should have told her parents, but I imagine she was absolutely terrified in the moment. The people who are self-righteously bullying her need to stop. She will always carry this with her, but it seems like she is taking steps to come to terms with what happened and wants to do something useful for society. My heart hurts for her, her family, and the baby she lost.

I think that if you know the whole story, of course shes guilty BUT people are a product of circumstance. Her MOTHER is partially to blame for making her daughter feel as if she needed to stay "perfect" and the doctor is wrong for giving her the prescription to the birth control pills after knowing she was pregnant and not even mentioning it to her mother. There's a lot that went into this case. Yes, she killed her baby(I dont believe it was still born like she said) and yes she buried it in her yard and then bragged about her body after but sometimes things aren't that cut and dry. It's so sad that her baby didnt even have a chance.

I just read up on it. Honestly, I feel sorry for her. She found out she was pregnant & gave birth before even having time to process it. Given her mental & eating disorders along with no prenatal care then it wouldn't be too surprising that the baby be stillborn at 32 weeks. Burying the baby & visiting the grave shows remorse & empathy. Her interview shows a girl who isn't really in a right state of mind.

I think she’s the perfect example of young, wealthy white girl getting away with murder. I also think her mother is probably a garbage human who wanted to look a certain way and she didn’t have a chance in the world at having a relationship with her mom based off anything but looks and popularity. I watched the whole trial. She’s messed up, the whole thing made me want to puke.  And yes I know what’s portrayed on TV can sway how things look, so that’s what it looked like to me.

She had a eating disorder.. she probably panicked as she's made it pretty clear she didn't want to have a baby with that guy.. It's sad she did what she did but I dont think she was mentally stable. It's hard to judge a situation like that through the media.
