Hospital stay items????

I’m a new mommy baby boy is due April 8th 2020 I’m wondering what you wish you knew and what I should bring to be prepared I’m already buying a nursing robe some comfy socks and a big duffel bag. What else should I bring with me too be extra prepared and comfortable as possible for me and my husband thank you!

I would say about 3 comfy pajamas for yourself and 3 comfy outfits for baby. Any toiletries you use everyday toothbrush, hair brush, etc. If you plan to breastfeed a good nursing bra, nipple cream, and gel pads! You don’t need a ton because the hospital provides a lot. They’ll give you wipes, diapers, blankets, burp cloths, pads, mesh underwear, plus tons more.

I ordered the Kindred Bravely labor & delivery gown from Amazon and was sooo glad I did. Didn’t wear for actual l&d as I figured it would get messed up and frankly it turned out I couldn’t have cared less what I was wearing during actual labor, but this gown was sooo much comfier than the hospital gown I loved wearing it afterward, it has easy access snaps and Velcro for breastfeeding or doctor access etc. 
My sister was due 10 days after I delivered, and one of the first things I did on my second day in the hospital was arrange to have one of these sent to her! I also wore mine pretty much exclusively for like a week after we got home. 
Also if you’re planning to breastfeed, you may want to take your breastfeeding pillow if you have one.
