When to do family photos??

I'm getting so frustrated with this. I wanted to do family photos for our family of four instead of a typical "newborn session". There is a studio in my town that will do an hour long session plus all of the edited photos for $250, pretty reasonable for where I live. I just wonder if I'd be happier doing these photos when our daughter is older and can interact a little more? Thoughts?

I think you'd be happier if you wait. I feel like in a group photo youd barely be able to see her with how small she is and can't hold her neck yet.

We are doing a family and newborn session combined. It’s $200 just to get in the door though and doesn’t include any images, which are another $700 for digital files.

I’ve been going back and forth on when I wanna do family photos. Luckily I found a photographer looking for a newborn baby boy model so we got his pics taken! I decided to wait until baby is a little older (between 3-6) months! 
I will take pics with my camera of him and his big brother though now while he’s little!
