My baby’s name makes me cry.

So, I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant with our second child. We have a daughter turning 2 in January & a little boy due in April.

My dad passed away 2 years ago, almost 3, and ever since I was a kid I told him I was going to name my son after him if I ever had one. So the minute we found out this baby was a boy be had a name: Levi.

I love it. It feels right. But it makes me cry because I remember that my dad never got to meet my daughter & he won’t be meeting this little one either.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I don’t want to change his name. I have my heart set on Levi, everyone knows that’s his name. It was no surprise to everyone when we announced lol... I’m sure once I start using it everyday & when I actually get to hold him it won’t make me cry as much.
