Throwing up

My baby will be 5 months next week. After he eats he spits up a little bit like a normal baby. Today I got a call from daycare that he threw up twice...not just spit up. I went and got him and he was happy and smiling so I thought maybe they were just over reacting. Later tonight he threw up forcefully again after a bottle. He went to bed at 7 and woke up around 11:30 so we went to change his diaper. We put him down on the changing pad and he started to throw up again. After he did it he smiled and giggled at us. Does anyone have any idea of what is causing this? Should I take him to the doctor or wait it out? He doesn’t seem sick...but it’s also not normal!
