Anyone TTC at a young age and your OBGYN not take you serious?

So I’m 21 years old my husband is 24 and me and my husband are TTC. We have been TTC for almost 2 years. Which, yes I know is young. But we have a house, good jobs, are totally independent financially because he went into a trade and I went to nursing school so we were able to get into our careers at younger ages. Anyways my OBGYN will not take me serious at all. I’m pretty sure I have PCOS or endometriosis. Or at least some kind of hormonal imbalance and she refuses to test me for anything because, as she says, it is “normal” for girls my age to have hormone imbalances and it will regulate itself out as I get older. Well I have excessive hair growth (stomach hair, a little bit of facial hair) my periods are horribly irregular. When I do get my periods they are extremely painful, sex is also painful. The only thing she has ever done is a cervical exam just to test for cervical cancer, std’s etc to see why sex is painful for me which all came back negative I was fine. I would say on average I get 5-6 periods/year. Once I went 6 months without one!! We have been TTC for 2 years and nothing. I have lost weight and am at a healthy BMI now and still, periods are nowhere near regular. She always blows my concerns off and refuses to do any kind of testing for anything else... Anyways, my question is, has anyone else been through this? I live in a small town and she’s the only OBGYN close to me. I am considering swapping doctors but the next closest one is almost an hour away.. So has anyone swapped and their other doctor actually take their concerns serious despite their age? Or is it normal for doctors to not do testing due to age? Thanks.
