3 month old refusing to nurse? EB, healthy baby

I've tried pumping before nursing because I think my milk is over producing... I've tried laid back nursing, which kinda works. But he will unlatch 10 times withing 5 minutes. My areolas are cracked and dry from this happening. Hes always nursed realllly well, even from the first day he was born. I've heard of a nursing strike.. the only thing I've changed in my body is taking birthcontrol. But I've been taking birthcontrol for two months and this nursing strike just started about two weeks ago and is still going. I just want him to eat enough to be hydrated, which he is. I even went to the pediatrician and he said hes healthy and no thrush or anything like that. It takes 30 minutes sometimes just to get him to eat for 15. I've heard that if your pregnant, babies refuse to nurse as well. Has anyone else experienced this? If it continues, I'm thinking about switching to formula for him and for my sanity.
