Christmas gift

Okay so I am huge on giving gifts not as much getting them but I love to give gifts but this year me and my boyfriend don’t have a lot of money and I want to give him something special should I make something (like a Christmas ornament or scrapbook or the plates with writing on them or something not totally shitty lol) or should I just try to scrape together some money and get him something small he is such an amazing guy and I don’t want him to feel like I don’t want to put money into stuff I just don’t want to take it out of the budget (we are trying to get out of debt) idk what do you guys think also if you have any suggestions of what to get or make that would be awesome
