I just had a baby a week and 4 days ago. During I had an iv right below the bend of my arm. Today I noticed that my arm, a little bit above where my iv was is very red and swollen. It hurts to touch it. It wasn’t like this before or I would think it was normal? It’s also really hot.

It could be from them blowing the vein I had them blow two veins in both my arms when I was in the hospital to have my son they were both sore swollen and bruised. If you think you have a blood clot you need to be in the ER getting it checked we can’t tell if you have one or not.
