Peeing after sex while ttc?

Will this affect my chances of conceiving? My doctor told me to stay laying down as long as possible after sex, so I’ve been trying to for at least 10 minutes. But when I get up to use the bathroom I feel the semen all falls out of me 😣

Why would a doctor advise that when fertility specialist say sperm gets where it needs to within seconds? It doesnt matter about laying down after or not x

Sperm gets to where it needs to in seconds. Not sure why your dr would tell you that. Seman will always spill out. You should get up and pee after. It doesnt affect your chances.

Semen comes out, yes. Sperm is already where it needs to go. There is no reason to stay laying down, lift your legs up or do any of that. Go pee. Avoid the possible UTI lol.
