Did you get any side effects when removing the mirena iud?

After a year of having the mirena, I want it out!!! It’s just not for me. Causing me many different symptoms. Being tired is not an option when I’m a stay at home mom. So this thing just go 😂 
I’m wondering if anyone had any side effects? If so, how long did they last and how severe were they?

I had a ton of issues when I had a Mirena but once I got it out I started to feel so much better pretty quickly. I had 3 pretty heavy periods after removal which my doctor said was normal. There were no other negatives.

I’ve had irregular periods
Since I got mine out in 2016. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but that’s my experience.

The only issue or side effects I had when I had mine was irregular periods I had a period every three months it was light thankfully but annoying because it was always a different times when it would show up I could predict it. I had it taken out got pregnant with my second a month later this time I got the no hormone iud so far I love it only issue was my first two period were heavier then my third went back to a normal not heavy flow.
