Help vaginal discharge

So I went to the gyno and she gave the 5 day cream gel to insert since I have an infection. Did it and it was done. I went back and she said I have HPV and abnormal cells so she gave me the 5 day gel cream again and I noticed I have yellow and white cottage cheese discharge. I thought it cleared up the first time I did it the beginning of the month. What do you guys think ? Also I’m going in for biopsy and read shouldn’t take the gel cream in your vagina is this true I only have two days left. And it’s only done at night
