What do I take to my doctors appointment?

Please no mean comments. I recently turned 18 and trying to be more independent. I just need to get my rod out (it's been three years) and a new one in. So what do I take with me? Please and thanks

Your ID & insurance card.

Check with your insurance company before making an appointment to make sure that the doctor is in network. You can either call them or make an account online with the insurance company's website. If you make an account you can see what is covered/not covered after the appointments are billed and find in network providers. 
ID or drivers license 
Insurance Cards 
If it's been a while since you've been to that dr or if it's a new dr arrive 15-30 mins early for paperwork

ID, insurance card and often times co-pay. Look on your insurance card and that should tell you what your co-pay is if you have one. Also a list of your medications and their dosage of you’re taking anything.
