Ladies with PCOS

Hi, my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the last year and a half. In August we found out that I have PCOS even though I was having regular periods only reason we knew was because an ultrasound showed cysts. In August my doctor placed me on 500 mg metformin twice a day, we haven’t had any luck since.

Yesterday she prescribed me 50 mg clomid to take with the Metformin, and I start that on Sunday.

My question is, how long did it take you guys to conceive? And has anyone conceived on the first try?
