Schizoaffective disorder/depressive bipolar

My cousin has this. Does anyone know anything about it?

My cousin says she hallucinates and has crazy episodes. Is that real?

Shes 38 years old and on SSI and cant work. Are people like this commonly unable to work?

She doesnt take care of herself whatsoever. Cant evwn go out and walk the dog to go potty or walk out to a mail box. If there is an outing she will stay home because she cant walk far.

Shes super unhealthy overweight and unfit. She lacks goals, ambition, and motivation. She lives with her mom.

I have always wondered if she chooses this or if she REALLY CANT FUNCTION IN LIFE...

So does anyone have this? Like is she daking some of this? Im not trying to be rude i just feel like shes capable of so much more in life.
