Hysterectomy

I think a hysterectomy is needed but I don’t know.. I, an 18 year old with no children will get a doctor to agree with me.

I have colitis, and if you don’t know what that is, it’s basically inflammatory bowl disease. I’m mentioning this because it would be a huge health risk for me to even consider children in the future period. Plus I don’t want any. My menstrual is hell it lasts about 4-7 days depending on the month. I can’t eat while on menstrual, I get unbearable cramps. I can’t even hold down medication for said cramps. Vomiting tends to happen the first day or when I attempt to eat or take medicine. This is a huge problem for me when on because I’m not getting the medication needed for my colitis. You see why the period alone isn’t needed? My iron is low.. and with me not taking my meds while on my cycle the symptoms from my IBD comes back. Blood in stool.. with that plus the heavy flow. I’m losing a lot of blood :/. I tried looking into birth control. My doctor said it could jeopardize my health. I think all of this is reason enough for a hysterectomy. I just want to make sure that if I bring it to my doctors attention I won’t get a no. Thank you! Help

It’s really unfair that you must have kids to go through with this surgery.
