I dont think your supposed to give them cows milk to drink at all until 12 months

My son is 10 months and he has regular milk every day in addition to his breast milk . Our dr said its fine as long as it isn’t a lot and isn’t a substitute for breast milk or formula. In fact in small amount it makes transitioning easier when you do stop breast feeding or formula feeding. He is my 3rd and did the same with the other two except I extended nurses my second duentk medical reasons

My son’s pediatrician recommended introducing cow milk at 9 months old. We used that same milk brand and would do a few ounces a day and he was just fine. I didn’t stop breastfeeding him though, just took it as an introduction to cow milk. Check w/your pediatrician.

I was told to start around 11 months, she is breastfed so was told it's okay.
