All dressed up because of great friends

It was my husbands work Christmas party tonight and I spent about an hour trying on outfit after outfit and not liking any of them. None of them were “nice” enough for the party. I was about ready to cry and decide to not go. (I had decided a while ago that I didn’t need a maternity party dress for Christmas season because I wasn’t going to drop $60+ on a dressed I’d wear maybe twice)

So, like any good millennial (lol) I complained about it on Facebook - and one of my friends said she had a dress she had gotten while pregnant (4 years ago) and even offered to drop it off as the party was tonight. And then - she even lent me a necklace she knew would look stunning with it.

I, again, could have cried.

(36 weeks! Feeling huge but felt so stunning in the dress - and absolutely thankful for great friends)
