Symptoms Changing

Holly

I’m at 5 1/2 weeks with my first pregnancy and I can’t shake this awful fear of miscarriage. I read and hear so many sad stories and it makes it really hard to stay excited and happy for the future. I found out I was pregnant a few days before my missed period (at 3 1/2 weeks) and have had very sore and swollen breasts and have had severe bloating and constipation, and slight fatigue. Occasional mild twinges in my lower abdomen but no bleeding, spotting, or bad cramping. Now in the last couple of days my bloating and constipation have just about resolved (Metamucil seems to be helping) and I’m way more exhausted but no nausea or throwing up. Is it possible for symptoms to change this early? I thought they were just supposed to get worse through the first trimester, not better. I know it’s crazy but I wish I had more symptoms to “ feel” more pregnant. Also, I’ve noticed my symptoms are worse at night, in the morning I feel completely normal except for being tired. Just having a hard time keeping my mind off of all the worry. I’m normally a pretty even-keeled person, but pregnancy is making me so anxious!
