What do teething gums look like?

I’m not sure if my LO is starting to teethe or if he’s just exploring. He’s drooling/blowing spit bubbles, and putting everything in his mouth and constantly chewing/sucking on his hands and my hands or my shoulder or anything near his face. I took a peek at his gums but honestly I never took a very close look at them before so I don’t know if they look different.

What do teething gums look like? Does this look like the start of teething? Sorry I couldn’t get a better picture.
