Found out baby is “growth restricted” and one measurement is small...?

I’m just at 31 weeks and I found out today that my baby is in the 3rd percentile for belly circumference. Measuring like 28 weeks there. Her skull, arm, And femur bones all normal. AND her overall weight at 3lb 7oz I was told are all normal. No idea why her belly isn’t growing!!! I’ve gained 16lb and take my prenatals and I’m so worried that I’m not doing something right. I’ve eaten healthy and continued to exercise as much as I can also. L
They also checked the placenta and cord which both looked perfectly normal as well as baby’s vitals. Have had a perfect pregnancy and all other visits until this one. 
My doctor said to just eat as much as i can and come back in two weeks and see if she’s grown. If she hasn’t, then we will do non-stress tests twice weekly until I’m full term at 37 weeks and induce then. That feels so early! And scary! 
Any hope or stories or input??

When I was pregnant with my current 3 year old daughter, I was also told that her stomach circumference was measuring behind at 32 weeks. The high risk specialist wanted to induce me as early as possible but my regular obgyn wanted to wait until I was at least 39 weeks. They made me come for weekly ultrasounds to make sure she is growing enough and decided to wait and see how urgently they want to induce. When I asked my obgyn if there's anything I can do, I was just told to eat more protein and it might help. I'm not sure if it made any difference but my daughter was born 6 pounds 10 ounces at 39 weeks and 5 days and is now a normal weight. I'm currently about 28 weeks pregnant with my second and so far things are on track but they asked me to come back at 30 weeks for another ultrasound just in case because they said growth sometimes slows down at that point.

My babe has been "growing" but is very low in the percentile. Only going up 1 or 2 % every 2 weeks. Abdominal and head circumference is about a week behind. The specialist has me being scanned every week to watch organ function and blood flow, and size. It worried me a lot at first but the more I've seen, the more I think she's just going to be small. Doctor says everything is functioning properly so as long as nothing changes we're doing great. Oh and my doc told me that there's not something I did wrong for this to be a concern, and that eating like crazy won't change anything. Hang in there and try not to worry much, it sounds like your babe is doing well!!

I was measuring 28 at 33 weeks when i gave birth to my daughter. She had IGR(in-utero growth retardation) we had a few extra US due to being small. She was in the INCU for 2 weeks. She is now 13 years old and is prefect.

I’ve been dealing with this too!! My baby hasn’t progressed in a month 😩 I go back Wednesday to find out if he has. Best of wishes momma ❤️

My doc measured me the other day and said I was measuring small and wants me to get a ultrasound to check for growth restriction. I been worried about it and just saw your post.
