Some strains of HPV can be spread through skin to skin contact such as genital warts. So you don’t have to have sex to catch some strains. That’s just one I know you and catch like that.

Hey hun, HPV is actually more of a cancerous issue rather than an STD. It is recommended to get the vaccine prior to starting sexual intercourse but that is really the only correlation. He can still get the vaccine as an adult it’s a three shot series. Highly recommend it protects against a lot of different types of cancer!

I was told men can be carriers and even get it from their moms along with being sexually transmitted. HPV is more a cancer concern than an STD. Certain strands can turn out cancerous
