False Postive test, than having longer period than usual?

So I took a pregnancy test about 2 weeks ago that came back false postive so I went to the doctors all test came back negative. Then the next day I got my period and everything was going normal it seemed to end after five days. But I keep having a little bit of blood come out for 2 weeks now? Do you think I had an early miscarriage and that’s why I’m bleeding so much, has this happened to anyone else?
