Wake up during the day to feed?

Are you all waking your babies up from naps to feed around the 3 hour mark? Or do you let them nap as long as they want ? And I mean 3 hours from the time of the last feeding, not a 3 hour nap.

She’s 7 weeks and now I follow tips from taking cara babies, and don’t let her nap more than 2 hours. Normally she wakes up right around that mark anyways. She may not eat right away, during the day it is general 2-3 hours unless she’s cluster feeding. It’s working for us because nighttime she’ll go down around 8pm or so, and sleep until 1am, wake up to eat, and back down until 5-6am.

I wake him if he has slept more than 2 hours during the day but because I want him to sleep overnight.  I did have to wake him for feedings every 3 hours early on because of hypoglycemia but you don’t have to for normal babies once they’ve regained their birth weight.

I dont let her sleep more than 2 hours in the day. But shes now going anywhere from.2-3 hours between feedings.  Shes 9weeks and 2 days.

I do. My baby is sleeping 7-9 hr stretches at night so I don’t like to let him go more than 3 hours during the day to make sure he’s eating enough.

My pediatrician said once they gain their birth weight back you don’t need to wake for feedings anymore! My daughter wakes up no later than 4 hrs naturally
