Should I stay will the person that gave me genital herpes ??

Ok so I was having sex with him for 4 months before I found out . I still like him even though I’m devastated & really going through it over the diagnosis😪. When I confronted him about it he told me some other stuff about his sexual health & history that I don’t like especially since I’ve never had an std before & he’s the second person I’ve ever had sex with.

But that was a month ago & the only time he reached out to me was about a week after that convo to tell me he lost his job😭. & I accidentally called him last week but hung up before he could answer🤦🏽‍♀️. He texted me not even 20 seconds after I hungup tho . & he watches my Instagram stories religiously.

Idk if I should try to be with him. I still crave him but is it morally wrong to continue ? & like , should I hit him up again first or wait for him to say something ??? Idk even know if he wants to be with me . He seems embarrassed about the situation.. idk what to do🥺
