Christmas present 🎁

Is there anyone who has family they visit 3+ hours away? If so what is your Christmas schedule like? We are never in our home for Christmas Day. We live 3 hours from everyone. So what I’m basically wondering is when do you let your children have their presents? Before Christmas? After Christmas? Or do you stay home for Christmas Day and open them then?

I’m wondering cause I’m never sure what to really do, some advice/opinions would be great! Our child is about to be three and soon he’s gonna start to realize more about Santa and Christmas!
