Am I in early labor?

Hey y’all,

All night I have had severe lower back pain. I have scoliosis and kyphosis so I know a little something about back pain and this is the most uncomfortable I’ve ever been. I have also been having period like cramps. I just called the hospital to ask if it is early labor and they told me to call my doctor, whom hadn’t given me his direct number yet or even talked to me about when to call him. L&D gave me his number to call rather than talk to me, which may be normal but I found it odd. I’m 34wks3d should I wait it out a little longer or call him now?
