We're revamping what was once 'Essentials' and introducing the new and improved 'Recommend' feature. This update will be slowly rolled out over the next few days!

In this 'Recommend' tab, you'll be able to recommend products you've used and enjoyed to your fellow Community users who are looking for advice about what to buy. Or, if you're wondering what the best brand or item is for a particular need you have, you can use the 'Recommend' tab to ask for suggestions or reviews!

When you recommend a product in the new feature, you'll be able to link directly to the product, so that it's easy for the user to find exactly the item you're talking about! Likewise, if someone recommends something to you, you'll be able to follow a link to the item on Amazon or through Google, for ease of purchase or bookmarking on your device.

Just a quick admin note about personal business promotion rules: These are still in effect. We ask that you use the Recommend feature to recommend third-party products only. Spamming questions with links to your personal business products will still fall under the Community rules against both spamming and personal business promotion. The new 'Recommend' tab will be similar to how you use the Product Recommendations Group in the Community today.
