Water Break?

Is this what amniotic fluid looks like? I had a small gush on my liner.

If it’s amniotic fluid it’s clear and either odourless or a slight sweet smell. If it’s AF it won’t stop coming. Both my previous pregnancies labour’s started by my water breaking but only slightly so it just dripped out or came in small gushes. Try doing a few squats with a fresh pad, if you have broke waters more will come out during exercises like that. You will have no control over the flow at all,, you can not hold it in or make it go like pee. If you’ve head to labour and delivery just make sure to sit on a towel sometimes a tiny tear will randomly rupture and make a huge mess in your car. (Advice from my midwife, it luckily didn’t happen to me)

When my water broke a pad wouldn’t contain it. I had a smallish gush at first and then larger ones. Try laying down or sitting for 10 minutes and then get back up: if you have more fluid then it might be your water. It is probably just discharge. How many weeks are you?
