Separation Anxiety Advice Please?!?!
I go back to work on Thursday. I have been off work since the beginning of October for maternity leave. I had my son on October 3rd. I have been his primary caregiver day and night since then- with the exception of a few hours. He is my first.
My job is mentally and emotionally demanding- I never knew how much until I have had this time "off". I would be at work from 8 to 430. Which means leaving my house at 7am and returning home around 530 each evening.
I am having separation anxiety already about leaving my son for work. It is impossible for me to be a stay at home mom....my husband and I have barely made it through these months financially. We already have childcare set up for each day.
Any moms out there who can offer some advice that I can do to help ease that anxiety that I am feeling?
