Ovulation always 14 days?

Question

Okay so obviously cycles can vary month to month, but is it just the first part (pre ovulation) that can be longer or shorter?  Or can the second half (post ovulation) be longer/shorter? 
I was under the impression that ovulation to period was always 14 days? Is that not true?

I thought the same thing. I was using an app and that’s basically what it showed me. I used ovulation tests and last month I got pregnant (chemical pregnancy) at cycle day 10. This month I tested again and I ovulated AGAIN on day 10. What I did, I purchase a 20 test Clearblue Advanced. I would start testing on day 8 of my cycle. That way I know where I am at. Maybe try that?

Ovulation isn’t always the same time each month and every ones LP is a different length. You would need to be tracking with opks and temping to confirm ovulation to know your cycle better and know your ovulation day and LP length
